In this bookstore, you can find our books, booklets, and life-application work books. While we could include, here, an exhaustive list of books, autobiographies, biographies, character studies of men and women of the Bible, study resources (such as commentaries, Bible dictionaries, etc.), Bible book studies, systematic theology volumes, and other doctrinal books on topics such as God, the Bible, Spirit-filled life, faith, divine guidance, prayer, spiritual warfare, salvation, evangelism, healing, spiritual gifts, Bible history, etc., to do so would be cumbersome for our purposes here.
Therefore, we’ve compiled a condensed list of authors and old saints whose lives and holy character we genuinely identify with and with whom we would feel honored to fellowship. Our purpose for giving this brief list is with the thought that we might relate to you more personally, as some of these listed may be your friends as well.

THE BURDEN BEHIND UHWM BOOKS & STUDIES
Immediately after being born again, I became confused over what so many church folks were calling their “salvation experience” and disturbed by what they display-ed in their lifestyles. Their salvation testimonies sounded lame and their lifestyles looked like mine before I was saved—only theirs had religion added.
My first burden was to address and clarify true salvation. With this, two other burdens began to surface:
1) to present God in His true Character and Divine attributes 2) to clearly describe how to live the Spirit-filled, victorious Christian life (true salvation and everyday life experiential sanctification).
Both led me to study biblical doctrines. Through studying, I realized how Bible verses were being disregarded by different denominations and doctrinal camps just because they didn’t fit with their own prescribed beliefs. This took me on a search for “Biblical Balance,” which requires consider-ing every verse pertaining to a doctrine, and not disregarding any. Every Scripture is vital. Every Scripture verse pertinent to a
doctrine must be weighed with every other pertinent verse. This is the only way we can arrive at proper, true understanding. This is the only way we can avoid adopting a doctrine just because it fits with a particular denomination or theo-logical camp. By letting Scripture interpret Scripture—by pressing two apparently opposing verses together—we can arrive at God's intended doctrinal, true per-spective.
I went through many years of Systematic Theology study. This involved different theological perspectives held by various denominational and nondenomina-tional camps. These hours of study were accompanied by many personal experiences in these camps. As I sorted through the labyrinth of doctrinal confusion and contradictions, my burden grew to present doctrinally balanced study materials. I needed These to be in plain language, without theological jargon. I wanted them to present essential biblical principles that were easily readable, clear and balanced, but not watered down.
I wanted these books to allow the reader to breathe, rather than
be suffocated by wordy academia.
I wanted them to present weighty truth with life-giving practical life application. My desire was that the hungry reader would not have to wade through cumbersome pages of scholastic rhetoric, as I had.
While my desire is for biblical balance, it is not my desire to bash biblical doctrines but simply that, through diligent study of God’s Word, we would balance them. Throughout church history, godly men have had legitimate doctrinal differences that were acceptable within the boundaries of orthodox evangelical Christendom. A classic example was between John Wesley (Arminian) and George Whitfield (Calvinist).
All truth out of balance is error, but when error is carried to such an unbalanced extreme that it goes out of bounds, it must be rejected as heretical. When within bounds and when hearts are pure and desiring to walk holy, let us say with the words of John Wesley, “If your heart be as mine, give me your hand.”
